Matters of the Heart

Hopefully I will be able to add new comics for April in the next few days—my mother has been in hospital.  A Home Without is dedicated to her and I love her with all my heart, so I am trying to get her well.  In the meantime, thank you for visiting and I hope to be back with you soon…

Much Love and Warmth, Don

Thank You Readers!

I just wanted to send a quick thank you and big hug to everyone who attended the writer’s conference in Seattle a few weeks ago.  It was great to meet the readers who came by the Northwest Press booth!  I greatly enjoyed it.  Thanks for giving my graphic novel, A Home Without, a great debut.  Much love and happiness to all.

AWP Writer’s Conference

For interested readers, I’ll be attending the book fair portion of the AWP Conference in Seattle this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (March 9th, 10th, and 11th).  Look for me at the Northwest Press booth from 1-3 PM on each of those days.  I’ll be selling and signing copies of my A Home Without graphic novel 🙂

See You in Seattle

Firstly, a BIG thank you to all readers and patrons of A Home Without.  To those in the Seattle, WA area from March 8-11 of 2023, I’ll be signing copies of A Home Without for Northwest Press and meeting readers during the AWP (Association of Writers and Writing Programs) book fair.  Look for me under the Northwest Press banner on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, from 1-3 PM.

A little closer to home, I’ll be guest lecturing for sequential art students at KSU (Kennesaw State University) near Marietta, GA on March 16th, 2023.  I’m looking forward to a great discussion on the writing process for comics!

Thanks to Those at Ichibancon

I just wanted to take a moment and thank those who recently attended the art market for Ichibancon (anime and media convention in Charlotte, NC) on January 12th.  I enjoyed seeing everyone—also, an extra special thank you to those who purchased art from the booth!
